MND Australia welcomes Clare Sullivan as new CEO

MND Australia, the peak body for people living with motor neurone disease, is delighted to announce that after a nation-wide executive search, Clare Sullivan has joined MND Australia as Chief Executive Officer.

Clare Sullivan is an accomplished and driven leader who brings with her over 20 years’ of executive experience in advocacy, leadership and organisational transformation across the not-for-profit, government and private sectors.

“It is an honour to join an organisation so dedicated towards improving the lives of Australians impacted by MND,” said Ms Sullivan.

“I am looking forward to working with our national network of State MND Associations to advance care and support for people living with MND. It’s a privilege to lead the organisation and to continue investing millions of dollars into cutting edge research developing treatments and better care, and one day a cure, for this dreadful disease.”

Andrew Danson, MND Australia Board President, congratulated Clare Sullivan on her appointment as CEO.

“We are excited to have Clare Sullivan lead us into the next chapter of MND Australia’s journey,” said Mr Danson.

“Clare’s background in community engagement, government and stakeholder relations has equipped her with the skills and insights necessary to drive our organisation forward and navigate the challenges that lie ahead.”

“I’d also like to take this opportunity to extend our deepest appreciation and gratitude to MND Australia’s outgoing CEO David Ali. We wish him well in future endeavours,” said Mr Danson.
