The National MND Australia Care Conference is a one-day biennial event for healthcare professionals and service providers who support people living with motor neurone disease. People living with MND and their carers are welcome to attend.
In 2023, the Conference will be held on Monday, 28 August 2023 from 10am–5.30pm at the The Florey Institute of Neuroscience and Mental Health in Melbourne and will be co-hosted by MND Australia and MND Victoria. The theme of the conference is: Caring in a complex environment.
Registrations are now open for the 11th National MND Australia Care Conference.
General registration is $250 for the one-day conference, but for a limited time an early bird price of $200 is available until Friday 16th June 2023. Simply use the discount code EARLYBIRD when registering.

The 27th annual Nina Buscombe Awards or "Nina's" support attendance at MND-related conferences and training events through funding attendance costs such as registration fees and travel. The awards are administered through MND Victoria. Applications close 31 May 2023.

MND Australia requires notice of registration cancellation in writing via info@mndaustralia.org.au at least 30 days prior to the event before a full refund is to be given.
Any cancellations of registration made less than 30 days (that is after 29 July 2023) will be refunded the ticket price less administration and catering costs. In the event that you test positive to COVID-19 within 7 days of the event you can apply in writing for a refund. You are required to provide supporting documents to prove your positive test. You will be refunded your ticket price less catering costs.
If I am unable to attend, can someone else go in my place?
If a registrant is unable to attend the event, the registration can be transferred to another person, no later than one (1) clear business day prior to the event. To do this, please notify MND Australia via info@mndaustralia.org.au including details of the current person registered, as well as the replacement attendee’s name, title, organisation, email address and mobile number. MND Australia will endeavour to accommodate special dietary requirements for late substitute registrants, but unfortunately this cannot be guaranteed.
Being COVID-safe is a shared responsibility, and we want you to enjoy and make the most of MND Care Conference in a safe way. Masks will be available at registration desk for those who would like to wear them. Hand sanitiser will be available at various points throughout the venue. Attendees are reminded not to attend if they are feeling unwell and displaying COVID-19 symptoms (loss or change in sense of smell or taste, fever, chills or sweats, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath and runny nose).

You hereby waive, release and forever discharge MND Australia from and against any and all claims or actions arising out of or resulting from any use of your image.
